Stroll across the road to the beach for an early morning dip, before cooking up a hearty breakfast in the villa’s kitchen. Later on, return to the beach or bundle the troops into the car and head off to explore regional attractions such as spooky Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse with its rich maritime history, perhaps spotting a few whales off the coast.

Overlooking the crystal clear waters of Geographe Bay, Dunsborough has rightly earned a reputation as one of WA’s top holiday spots. The seaside town is surrounded by magnificent beaches and inspiring coastal walks, with frolicking bottlenose dolphins and migrating whales to spot offshore. A vibrant arts and music scene awaits in town, while those who venture further afield discover the impressive 220 vineyards of Margaret River, where scenic countryside, fine wines and excellent dining delights the visitor.

In the afternoon, take a drive along the coast to some of WA’s best swimming beaches such as Meelup, Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay, before returning to Dunsborough for dinner at one of the great local restaurants, perhaps followed by a bit of live music. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course just up the road from the resort.
