Just an hour away from Brisbane lies a haven of wine – The Scenic Rim Region hugged by ancient volcanic mountains and boasting fertile valleys. The region is famous for its unique wineries of boutique character. This tour makes for a great opportunity for all wine aficionados to gain some know-how of the winemaking process and Queensland’s wine industry dating as far back as the 1870s.

Standard Itinerary
On the road, learn how Queensland’s wine industry has developed over the last 25 years (locations may change depending on availability):
- Lake Moogerah, also known as the ‘Switzerland of Queensland’
- Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard – stroll through the vineyard with the wine producer
- Bunjurgen – wine and port tastings with a cheese platter beneath the jacaranda tree
- Kooroomba Vineyards and Lavender Farm – stunning views with vineyard, lavender and mountains designed to mirror French Provence. Wine tastings followed by breads and gourmet main course (lavender typically May to September)
- Boonah Lookout – Delightful Scenic Rim and Boonah views
- Overflow 1895 – Tastings on a headland surrounded by Lake Wyaralong
